The practice

Natural beauty. Modern technology. Sterilization standards.

Three principles, in the practice's own words, and how they show up in the work.

  1. 01

    Natural beauty

Restorations are shaped and shaded to suit the face they belong to, so the result reads as teeth rather than as dental work.

  2. 02

    Modern technology

Digital imaging and current implant systems support planning before treatment and checking after it.

  3. 03

    Sterilization standards

Instruments and surgical fields are prepared to strict sterilization protocols for every patient, at both clinics.

Doctor at work

One dentist, from plan to follow-up.

The same dentist carries out the consultation, the treatment and the follow-up, at both clinics. On the screens behind him are implant radiographs, the images used to plan treatment and to check it afterwards.

For implant surgery and fine restorative work, Dr. Nour works under magnification, with loupes and a focused light. The details are measured in fractions of a millimetre.

Technology

Planned on screen, checked on screen.

Implant treatment depends on knowing what lies beneath the gum. Imaging is used to plan where an implant goes and, afterwards, to check how it is doing.

All impressions at the practice are taken digitally, with an intraoral scanner instead of a tray of impression material. The result is a three-dimensional model of the teeth on screen.

From scan to restoration

  1. 01

    Scan

A handheld scanner records the teeth and gums in three dimensions. In implant work, small markers fitted to the implants record where each one sits.

  2. 02

    Review

The scan is checked on screen, from every angle, before it is used.

  3. 03

    Laboratory

The file can be sent to the dental laboratory, where the crown, bridge or arch is designed from it.

A scan is a precise record of the teeth, not a guarantee of a result.

Sterilization standards

Prepared before the patient sits down.

Sterilization is one of the practice's three principles. Instruments are cleaned, sterilised and prepared before every treatment, at both clinics.

Patient experience

“Still following up my patients.”

Implants and restorations need looking after, by the patient at home and by the dentist at review appointments. Follow-up is part of the treatment, not an extra.

Before any treatment, the options and the sequence are explained, including what cannot be promised. "Your smile, our priority" is how the practice puts it.
